Reviews and Ratings
Although my room only had one chair and dim lighting, the view of the mountains from the 5th floor was lovely. However, the rollaway bed was not as comfortable as I had hoped, especially considering the price paid for the room at La Fonda on New Year's Eve. The service was top-notch and very accommodating, even helping me with directions around town. The location, despite needing a facelift, was fabulous, right near the square and within walking distance to various attractions. As for dining, the beautiful atrium setting was a nice touch, but I wished breakfast started earlier. Overall, an excellent stay with some minor room and bedding issues.
I had an amazing stay at La Fonda! The hotel's location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the plaza, surrounded by restaurants and shops. The rooms were top-notch, albeit a bit pricier than other nearby options. The service was exceptional, with a personal touch in every interaction. The dining experience was delightful, especially the coffee at the French Crepery. Overall, a great value for the money spent.
